What is your dream job? Today’s prompt for the blog challenge I’m attempting (link at the bottom of the post). I say attempting because we all know that I won’t make all 31 days.
I am living my dream job times 2.
First, I work full time as a Web Developer …the same job I coveted while working here (UofU) as an Admin and pursuing my BS in IT/Visual Communications. After getting my Bachelor’s I went off into the world of Web Design until this job opened up. Then I came back “home” and have been here for over a year.
Part two of my dream job living is my freelance work, Design by Thauna. I get to design sites for blogger and business owners of all types and in various parts of the world. It truly is a blessing and a blast.
Even though I’m honestly already living my dream job(s) there is one thing that could make it an even more dreamy job. If I could work part of the year in Italy. I have a fantasy about putting down some roots in Italy…part-time because I couldn’t bear to be away from my kids and grandbaby for too long.
After all, Design by Thauna is portable and I can work from anywhere. Designing from the Italian countryside or coast…now that would be a dream come true.

That is one nice thing about our niche, isn’t it. That being said, the only other place I’ve designed from (besides my house) is Starbucks. I fail at mobility.
I’m not very good at being mobile either….I’ve only worked at Starbucks once. But we can dream.
