The basis of my daily uniform is black. Black pants to be specific. It doesn’t seem to matter if it slacks for work or yoga/lougewear around the house. My bottom half is usually clothed in black. Or gray. I do have one pair of gray slacks and a couple pairs of gray yoga pants.
Boring.
My typical uniform for those times in between work and lounge (aka, working at home) is jeans. If I had my choice I’d live in black yoga pants all the time. It’s all about comfort these days.
I have to remind myself to mix up my wardrobe during the week. Sometimes I’m pretty sure I wear the same thing every Wednesday. But I don’t mean to.
My closet is stuffed, but I only wear about 20% of it regularly. The rest is mostly stuff that doesn’t fit but is just too cute to get rid of.
I would love to change up my “uniform” but I’m not happy with with the size I have to buy at this time. So I have just enough to get me through. No more, no less. Which means I wear the same 5 outfits to work each week.
Boring.
If I really want to add some excitement to my wardrobe I’m going to have to lose some weight. (But that is another post and a whole other story.) Until I can buy a smaller size I’ll stick with what I have.
I have been trying to change up my wardrobe with some jewelry here and there. It’s hard for me to remember.

**I signed up for a class with Ali Edwards over on Big Picture Scrapbooking. During the class I’ll blog some of my stories. The class makes a scrapbook of each of the 31 days, but I signed up more for the practice of writing and blogging again.**

Black and gray? You’d fit right in here in New York City. That’s our uniform, punctuated with some color in a t-shirt or scarf!

I have a few colorful tops, most most are muted. I should really consider that next time I’m shopping.
