Rocks My Socks Off

Today at Life:Besprinkled the Five on Friday post is about our favorite TV shows that have been canceled. One of mine is Rockstar: Supernova. And I had to post a youtube clip of the winner. Who was also my favorite.

But now I’m sitting here looking at other videos that rock my socks off and I feel compelled to share more.

I am such a rocker chick. Not in my everyday dress or anything really. Most people would never guess and are surprised that I’m so passionate about good rock and roll. And when I say I’m passionate, I mean I can talk and share about my favorite music for hours. Especially KISS.

Back to Rockstar…this is Lukas Rossi and his original song. Since he won the competition the song is also on the Rockstar Supernova CD. I heart him.

Storm Large was another favorite. This is her original song. She rocks. I wonder what she is doing now.

Currently my socks are rocked off by anything Royal Bliss does. I’ve blogged about them before. I adore them. They are a local Salt Lake band, but they are making it big time. They are with Capitol Records now and are touring. If you get a chance to see them you should. Amazing. I’m going to see them April 1st….I hope. I can listen to this song over and over and over.

I also have a new favorite that is currently rocking my socks off that is not rock. Gasp! What you say. The rocker girl is listening to Folk music?? I saw The Civil Wars here in Salt Lake a couple months ago when my friend came to SL to see them after she saw them on Jay Leno. Oh, I truly love them. So haunting, speaks to my soul. I purchases their CD as soon as I could. I listen to it all the time. This is my favorite song.

And I can’t end this list without a KISS song. That would be so wrong. But which one? Let’s go for the one that I can’t help but tweet lyrics and repeat the words everytime I hear it. I know, I know….I’m a strange girl. (I just searched my blog for KISS and I have blogged a few times about them check this one out if you’d like to see them with no makeup and heres a couple pics from when I saw them last Fall)
